Yeah, its been awhile

I know, I know, its been a long time since my last post. Under normal circumstances that'd mean a long fucking post with lots of recounting. I'll give you the short recap:

Rush...it happened and it worked. Jeremy Brook and Adam Cohen helped the chapter rock out with its cock out. We pounded the pavement, knocked on doors, and got the bids. After 2 solid weeks of not having any life of my own, I accomplished part of my goal. I'm still missing the two bids from last semester, but fuck if I know what to do about that situation. There might be a mid-semester Rush, but I don't really know yet. Its now out of my hands and in the hands of Brian Palay. Ahh a new semester: rushes become bids become pledges become brothers.

Washington DC...the trip was interesting in oh so many ways. Seeing the kids of Temple Israel again made me wish I didn't have to resign. I got to do the one thing I loved about being a youth advisor for a whole weekend. The kids were great in all ways. They lobbied well, they spoke eloquently, and made their voices heard. I was so proud of them. On my own personal front, I didn't get to see Bonnie, Leah, or Lindsey, which was kind of disappointing to me. I wasn't so much disappointed in them as the situation. I'm not sure when I will be able to see them again.

So know I'm trying to put my life back together. Hopefully I'll be able to dig myself out of the hole of schoolwork I seem to have before me.
