What a Week

So its been a crazy week. Gosh, I'd love to not start a post that way, but that is unfortunatly the way its been this past semester. So on the good side, my new nephew Samuel Asher Sommer is officially a member of the tribe. He's just as cute as his older brother David, and I expect he'll be just as smart. The trip to Chicago to see him, was amazingly helpful for my life. My brother-in-law and sister have great wisdom, and they were nice enough to impart some of it on me.

Today I broke the unfortunate news at work. They took it well, but it was still hard. Hopefully the transition will work out well for the kids, because that's who are really important in this situation. As the semester winds down and I prepare for exams and the semester to come, hopefully my new situation and outlook on my life will help me to breathe once and awhile.

I'm looking forward to my partial break from school and work. Even though its only Friday through Sunday, I'll get some much needed rest and relaxation.
